Good tent, quick shipping

I ordered a backpacking tent for my trip next month and it got here pretty fast, like 4 days to my place in Oregon. Set it up in the backyard and it seems solid. The instructions were easy enough to follow too. Overall, a good experience and I'm happy with the purchase.

Reliable for outdoor gear

This is like my fifth order from Public Lands, always come back for their good selection. This time I got a new pair of hiking boots, and they fit great right out of the box, same as the last pair I bought a couple years ago. Shipping was consistent, arrived in about a week just like my other orders. They really deliver on quality and getting stuff to you when they say they will. It's why I keep shopping here.

Hey, wondering if anyone knows how long shipping usually takes for Public Lands? I'm in NYC and trying to get a tent before a trip next weekend. Should I even bother?

A Anna 2 months ago

I've ordered a few times to upstate NY, usually takes about 5-7 business days for me. Might be cutting it close for next weekend.

Yeah, if you're in a hurry, check if they offer in-store pickup anywhere nearby. Otherwise, standard shipping can be a bit slow, probably like a week or so, sometimes a little more if it's a big item.

Thinking of finally getting a Yeti cooler, but man, they're pricey. Do these ever go on sale at Public Lands? Or can I use like a first-time discount code on one?

S Sophie E. 2 months ago

Pretty sure Yeti is always excluded from the general discounts. I've never seen a coupon work for them there, or Patagonia stuff either.

B Ben K. 2 months ago

Nah, forget it. Yeti is one of those brands that almost never gets a discount on Public Lands, even with a sign-up code. Your best bet is usually just earning ScoreCard points on the purchase.
